{"id":122,"date":"2020-04-27T20:28:09","date_gmt":"2020-04-27T20:28:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.btigerfpv.com\/?p=122"},"modified":"2020-04-27T20:28:09","modified_gmt":"2020-04-27T20:28:09","slug":"qav-x-built-with-old-used-parts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.btigerfpv.com\/index.php\/2020\/04\/27\/qav-x-built-with-old-used-parts\/","title":{"rendered":"QAV-X built with old used parts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>When I held some old parts of past FPV times in my hands, I spontaneously got the idea to build a basher quad for training purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parts used:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>QAV-X replacement unibody frame plate (old spare part)<\/li><li>EMAX Race Spec RS2306 2750 KV (rarely used)<\/li><li>VTX: RUSH Tank Ultimate Plus<\/li><li>Foxeer Lollipop 2 RHCP<\/li><li>RunCam Phoenix Oscar Edition (great camera)<\/li><li>TBS Crossfire Nano RX<\/li><li>My preferred FC\/ESC: Hobbywing XRotor Micro 60A 4in1 ESC und F4 G3 Combo (new)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On Thingiverse I have found some interesting parts for QAV-X based frames:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thingiverse.com\/thing:3005371\">https:\/\/www.thingiverse.com\/thing:3005371<\/a> (great pod, printed using CPE+ and Breakaway on Ultimaker S3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thingiverse.com\/thing:2306325\">https:\/\/www.thingiverse.com\/thing:2306325<\/a> (battery protector, printed using TPU on Ultimaker S3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Flashed with Betaflight 4.1.5 and configured using low rpm filter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few days ago I could fly the quad for the first time and was pleasantly surprised that it flew like on rails. I am very pleased to have built this quad. It doesn&#8217;t have to be the latest.
